Joint Venture equity partners provide up to 95% of the equity for acquisitions and developments to experienced sponsors with a proven track record.
Preferred is available for up to 85-90% of total cost and is less hands on than Joint Venture Equity and allows a sponsor for a larger percentage of the upside in the deal.
Co sponsorship capital provides seed capital for land takedowns and entitlements and often helps provide balance sheet support or signs guarantees.
Specialty finance situations include mezzanine financing, bridge loans and construction loans.
Programmatic Equity partners provide platform level growth equity for a series of deals following a specified strategy.

Derek is a commercial real estate industry veteran with over a decade of experience having been engaged on over a billion dollars worth of deals as either advisor or principal. He spent years at NorthMarq Capital, one of the largest capital advisory firms in the country, where he was an award winning producer. Derek has a degree in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University with concentrations in finance and real estate.
Derek and his team are focused on leveraging his years of industry experience to help real estate investors and developers across the country source attractive capital structures for their deals.
